Spotlight on: Serge Mouille

In bohochic, french industrial, jenna lyons, serge mouille on February 18, 2010 at 10:57 pm

I love the light fixtures by Serge Mouille. He was a French silversmith most well known for his minimalistic designs painted in black. He showcased his designs at a gallery in Paris with Prouve, Perriand, Noguci, and Luce. To me, his light fixtures are as iconic as the Saarinen table or a Bertoia Chair.  Here are some of my favorite interiors using one of his designs.

In J Crew, jenna lyons, spring 2010 on January 28, 2010 at 8:42 am

Ran out of time to write a proper post. I woke up to new arrivals in my inbox and found three favorites.

Add a dose of Spring to any neutral outfit.

One of Spring’s Must-Haves-I love this color!

A Defininte Statement Jacket-so pretty!

All at J. Crew

Jcrew’s Spring Collection is full of beautiful blossoms and quirky stripes. I can’ t wait for these items to hit stores. As always, J. Crew’s attention to off beat color combinations and couture-like details really create stunning pieces at affordable prices.I’m highly anticipating seeing the rest of the collection.

Another fantastic blossomed jacket from Spring Preview

Stripes and Denim-perfect for Spring

Chic Life- J. Crew’s Jenna Lyons

In elliott puckette, jenna lyons on April 15, 2009 at 9:18 pm

Although I might be envious of Jenna Lyons’ job as J Crew‘s creative director, I think I’m more envious of her Park Slope, Brooklyn Town home. Her home was recently featured in Domino magazine and created quite a frenzy on numerous decor blogs as well as blogs completely dedicated to anything and all J Crew. She is also interviewed in the May issue of Vanity Fair in one of my all time favorite features-My Stuff. So below, some images of her home and her answers to the Home Section of My Stuff.

The Living Room-I love the fireplace and the architectural moldings

A sitting area near the kitchen-I love the juxtaposition between the Saarinen table and the Belgian Upholstered Chairs
The Master Bath-I am currently obsessed over the herringbone parquet floors and I love the black tub.

The Piece de Resistance-Jenna’s Closet-I’m speechless.
